I don't get this. You'll drive to see JMU play Elon and wear your purple in support of the dukes but you don't want a former Tribe player to enjoy success?

Greg moved on for what he felt was a better opportunity. He didn't leave mid-season or do anything to stick it to W&M. He finished his season and transferred. I only wish him the best.

I think he meant that he wishes the Hoya's spot in the bracket is taken by Northeastern, after we beat them in the CAA final...

RE: 2018 CAA MBB Transfers
It would appear to me that Malinowski's transfer has worked out well for all parties involved. I'm sorry that it did not work out for him to stay here for 4 years and for it to work out for all. I really enjoyed watching him in his time here, particularly his sophomore year, but for whatever reason he needed to move on. I've been there and I suspect most others of us have as well in some aspect of our lives. I'm glad that this has worked out for all involved.

I'm happy for Malinowski. I always liked him. Sorry that injury (concussion, if I remember correctly) basically cost him his whole junior year. If he had played regularly that year he might not have transferred and someone (probably Burchfield) would have lost minutes the next year. Looks like it worked out best for everyone involved -- wish we could say the same for Whitman.

Selcuk transfers to Montana.

People can go to school wherever they want and I wish everyone well. However, I would like for current Tribe players to go to the NCAAT before any former Tribe players go dancing. Regretfully, I am starting to think the Tribe might be waiting till next season, again, so i don't want Georgetown to go this year. It's all about the team, transfers out can have all the individual success possible, but i want our team to be more successful than their team.

Don't forget about Seacat. Would have been nice to have him as Knight's backup this year.

Harvey is a true freshman while Seacat is in his 3rd year. Seacat gives Appy State one (1) more basket and one (1) more rebound a game than what Harvey does for us. Rowley doubles Seacat's ppg and has the same # of rebounds. I suspect Hunter is better defensively in the paint with his additional 35 pounds. I'll take what we have in that.

It would be nice to get to the point where we have a Knight level player starting with a Rusthoven/Sheldon level of player coming off the bench.

Given our talent pool, we are better able to absorb losses in the wing positions than in the point guard or underneath. That being said, I dislike any losses to transfer.

Seacat would be a senior this year with us. He starts at ASU. Would be nice to have had a big body the last two years allowing Rowley to play behind pierce.

Seacat wasn’t gonna play in a tribe uni again after the DUI. That’s why he transferred. It’s worked for both sides. Happy he’s succeeding.

Malinowski playing on CBS. Having fun watching him. Playing well and I’m rooting for him. Of course wish he hadn’t transferred but he handled himself well, and once a Tribe always a Tribe.

It is not true that his issue would've prohibited him from playing for us again.

A nice line for Malinowski with 13 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and a steal. It was also nice that he provided more diversity.

Not sure how this is relevant at all but one of the two starters that Georgetown was missing for the game who Malinowski was starting for, Mac Mcclung, also “provides diversity.”

Hence "more diversity", in general and "diversity" today. Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing. I'm also glad that W&M is more diverse this season.

My reading comprehension was fine. I’m still not sure how it was relevant.

Then you should say that, not drop a key modifier in the quote to make a different point.

Diversity is good. It's not a difficult concept and it cuts all ways.
