2018 CAA MBB Transfers
Junior PF Sam Miller (6'9" 240lbs Washington DC) is transferring to CofC from Dayton. I guess Miller will be eligible next year; he has not played this year because Dayton suspended him for being arrested for underage consumption, disorderly conduct, and for allegedly assaulting a fellow inmate while in jail.

And as previously mentioned, freshman guard Travis Ingram is transferring from Towson. I'll start a list of comings and goings soon.

Miller sounds like a guy who will play with an edge on.

For some reason, out of the entire CAA, I held CoC closer to WM with regard to academics and integrity...

Hes from Virginia and even ODU didnt take him...

I'm sure it's the first time he's been in trouble.

Hahahahahaha Miller is the guy who took his pants off and then got beat up. Has to be one of the rougher nights in his life.

LOL, I wonder if the words said to the other person were "Hey, can you help me pull my pants up? I forgot how to"

How any program would want him on their team is mind-boggling

JMU SO F Gerron Scissum (6'8" 205 lbs Huntsville, AL) has announced he will transfer. He has played in seven games this year after sitting out last year after transferring from VCU.

Some of these guys with double transfers are as interested in an education and college degree as the man in the moon. I doubt if, at times, they even know the name of the school that they've transferred to. It's become a farce.

RE: 2018 CAA MBB Transfers
Okay got the list together. Some of the players listed in "transferring out" like Jonsson and Ford may not be trying to play elsewhere; they left their teams for personal reasons and it remains to be seen if they will use their remaining years of eligibility. Woods was released from Delaware's team for breaking team rules.

Transfers Leaving:
Towson: FR 6'3" G Travis Ingram
Drexel: SO 6'3" G Kari Jonsson
Delaware: SO 6'8" F Derrick Woods
James Madison: SO 6'7" F Gerron Scissum
Northeastern: JR 6'11 F Sajon Ford

Transfers Eligible Next Year:
Delaware - JR 6'11" F Collin Goss (George Washington)
Towson - JR 6'8" F Nakye Sanders (Duquesne)
Charleston - JR 6'9 F Sam Miller (Dayton)
Northeastern - JR 6'1" G Jordan Roland (George Washington)
Wilmington - JR 6'6 F Jeantal Cylla (Florida Atlantic)
Drexel - SO 6'8" F James Butler (Navy)
Hofstra - SO 6'5" G Tareq Coburn (St. Bonaventure)

Transfers Who Must Sit a Year:
(None)

Didn't know Jonsson left Drexel. Thought he was a really good shooter.

Reading the Drexel board, they knew about him leaving months ago. They believe he was homesick.

Sajon Ford of NU didn’t transfer. He is no longer playing basketball and is finishing his courses so at NU.

He put "transferring out" in quotes and specifically noted that Ford may not play elsewhere. Seems pretty clear to me.
