I know. We're pitiful. So embarrassing but happy that the rest of the conference is carrying us.
We lost a bowl game by five points because of turnovers. We beat UCF by three scores last year and the excuse was they were not as concerned with winning.

If everyone wants to keep knocking ASU for a close loss in a bowl game, that is fine. I am going to have to ask everyone else to go to a bowl game seven straight years. 07-coffee3

If anything I was expecting GSU to lose before ASU did. It was disappointing to see that loss.

We have kicked their rear for several years so they have to do something to puff themselves up. App really shouldn't they have been solid since they moved up. Troy has been good last couple of years after some bad times. But GSU wow really. Sorry but you guys have a ways to go to even carry our players jocks. That would be an honor for you little fellas. When you want to slam us look at the last 7 years and the things no one has ever done here before. It's not over yet either. Makes your bungs draw up huh...Lol.

I don't know that UCF didn't want to win, but any sane AState fan will tell you they didn't take that game seriously last season. They didn't want to be there, they didn't want to play us, and they were coming off a 6-6 season.

From everything I've heard out of people who were around the football team before the bowl this season, they didn't really care too much for the game this year. Once Troy beat us, we just sort of packed it in

Not butt hurt just reminding you who has been and will continue to be at the top of the league. Good season by you guys. The same amount of wins you are celebrating we are very disappointed in. That is the difference between our programs. I still was rooting for you to win your bowl game.

Not sure why all the finger pointing, my guess is going forward we'll all find ourselves in a similar situation at some point. No reason to be smug about our respective bowl successes this year.

Since the Sun Belt finished with a .800 win percentage in bowls, every other conference has been eliminated from winning it.

Now it's only between the Sun Belt and the Big 10.

We need two losses by the Big 10 to seal the deal. If the Big 10 wins two more games, they'll win the Bowl Trophy.

I think next year it should be interesting for the G5 Golden Ticket. I think the following could be surprise teams. App, Troy and CUSA with FAU from CUSA should be early contenders.

At the end of the day today, we'll have either won the cup, finished 2nd, or know that everything will come down to Michigan/South Carolina on New Years Day

Washington plays Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl at 3:00 and Wisconsin plays Miami in the Orange Bowl tonight. My guess is that Washington is our best shot, but I won't put anything past Miami winning at home. If Both Washingtion/Miami lose, Big 10 wins the Cup. If Both Washington/Miami win, We win the cup. If They split, then it all comes down to Michigan/USC Monday.

They got upset. It sucks for the Sun Belt and to a far greater extent, it sucks for stAte, but it happens. App lost at UMass and at a 4-8 ULM team and by the skin of their teeth to Wake. It sucks but it happens. This is why I feel App fans have no reason to give stAte grief over their bowl game loss. GSU lost a game no one expected them to lose against FCS Tennessee State, to use GSU fans' words.

AAC runner up loses to a mid tier Big 12 team at home. Drops the AAC to 3-3 in bowls with only Central Florida left. There's a decent chance the SBC might be the only G5 league to finish over .500 this bowl season.

you can say GSU suffered an unexpected loss to TSU because it's true lol. It happened and it sucked. oh well. I won't attack you for it.

You know when something weird happens and can't help but laugh a little? sorta like stepping in a dog poop while walking down the street? that's was what I meant by saying "it's little funny." wasn't being sarcastic, negative, or condescending at all. put down the pitch forks ya'll.

App has every reason. Really just for the comic relief, and it's what makes the conference more interesting, and better in the long run. One day, it will be App who fails and is singled out. I won't like it, but that's how it goes. One thing I've figured out this year is that stAte can dish it out, but they also take it when warranted. I'm proud to call them a conference brother, and really like their fans.

That said...
