Most of the noise about excess travel and realignment is coming from CUSA schools up here, so you can stop with the if you want a bus league go back to FCS garbage. App fans have zero interest in playing you guys. It would be somewhat beneficial for football recruitng to come down there once every two years, but that's about the only reason I can think of.

If I were you guys I wouldn't want to play us either. Guess you need to start paying attention to what your conference mates are saying. They're fed up with the make up of CUSA.

Boone is a pretty nice town and App is a nice school. I’m not even mad at the angry Sunbelt teams. They used to say the same thing about UCF/USF. We started football in 2001, less than 20 years later and we are still growing.

The only schools that are fed up is USM and thier LaTech sidekicks They’ve been fed up for 100 years which is why all the old CUSA schools were so adament on leaving them behind. All that history they talk about is the history of whining.

Now if the Sunbelt teams were content, CUSA threads wouldn’t be the most popular topics on this board. I don’t browse the Sunbelt boards looking to trash any team, but you guys seem to lay it on the Florida schools with such a pompous attitude of accomplishment.

Assuming FIU and FAU stay on par with what they each accomplished this season (there's no history of it and either (or any of us for that matter) could backslide but credit where credit is due, both had great 2017s) what App State fan wouldn't want them in our league and/or make occasional road trip to south Florida? Not to mention it couldn't hurt recruiting. Absolutely nothing against these schools but I'd give up Texas State and ULM to get the F-U's. I know I'll never road trip to San Marcos or Monroe. I might road trip to Boca.
