Sorry you have to deal with the guy above. He is certainly not representative of our fan base's character. Separately I will say, Golota, you probably will ruffle a few feathers with the CC thing... We may go by "Coastal Carolina" more than not, but the abbreviation has never been CC. CCU is in cheers, chants, on athletic apparel, etc.

I know that all sounds very much like the banter about what to call Louisiana etc, but it's not about rebranding here, just always been that way, CCU. Guess it just makes us fit in even better with the Sun Belt since y'all already got ULa, ULL, ULM, GS, GSU, GaSt, etc meme going on here.

I sure hope so. Anybody really. I know we have minor, minor history with App St and GS, and proximity, but we could use a good consistent rival anywhere. One of the Louisiana schools could make sense, especially if we keep opening the beach up to La hurricane evacuees... We had a ton of La folks up here the last few. And we might need them to return the favor some day, lol. That and they gotta have some love/hate/emotion for us already since we took LSU behind the woodshed in baseball two years ago...

Trust me. I was pulling for you guys against LSU.
