First year as FBS we beat a SEC team. No hard feelings but lighten up. When your fans starting asking “who is CC” that’s petty or ignorant.

We’re really not bottom dwellers. We have been on the lower half but also been on the top half as well. ULM 40%+ in SBC games . Not that I am bragging but you act like we’re going 2-6 in conference every year. I am confident you guys will get better but so will we.
Yeah we get **** on by our conference mates sometimes and backhanded bashing. We deserve it sometimes too.We may have been button dwellers at times but we have done good things for the conference.
We beat P5 Wake Forest two years in a row.
Beat Alabama
Beat #8 Arkansas has any SBC beat a top 10 team?
We also won a share of conference title had players win the SBC POY, Offensive POY, Defensive POY (Player of Year).
Almost had victories against Auburn, Baylor, Texas AM the last 5 years. We’re from perfect and not a top dog but we’re also not that bad.

ULM football is trending up with a very young team so it’s not like in 1-2 years we’re going to suck. We just had the #1 class per rivals and 3rd per 247. Yes you might beat us but it won’t be up and down the field.

I’m hoping last week as a fluke. It certainly isn’t what we expect to see at Coastal.

We haven’t had a team fall apart like that since 2011.

I know people want to dog us because we lost to WIU - they aren’t Morgan State or Southern, they are a top FCS team this year and could beat a lot of G5 teams. Still, we shouldn’t have just folded like we did.

The primary problem we have is that we don’t have a QB which means we have an inept offense which means our defense is overworked. Hopefully some of that gets resolved this week. I don’t expect a win but would like to see us have a better plan, better execution, and play for 4 quarters.

I'll chime in and say that since we've been FBS, ULM has been one of our toughest opponent in conference. They've nearly upset us every year we've played them. I'm glad we miss them this year when they're really starting to figure things out. They are not strangers to option Football and they definitely know how to defend it. I'd hold off on talking smack until after the game Coastal fans.

No one here is talking smack. Every single one of us expect to lose this game. We just disagree on how bad we think it will be. But we all expect to lose.

But these LM fans have taken a special interest in taking shots at Coastal. So I'm going to call a spade a spade and say that I wouldn't trade places with the LM program to save my life.

Coastal is having a horrible year, and will lose, and we will lose big. LM is just horrible period. It's a perpetual problem for them.

To this day, the only posters on this board to call the UMASS win a "signature win" are LM fans themselves. Not a single Coastal fan has said that.

Again the whole signature win stems from Arrowhead saying he didn’t know why CC was getting so much respect for beating UMASS. I said you wouldn’t beat us and one of your posters got all butt hurt and then stated UMASS win was the maybe the best conference win. NMSU beating UNM was the best win.

You just don’t know when to drop it do you. Inferior program? How many top 10 FBS wins do you have? How many SEC wins do you have? How many times has Coastal beaten Saban coached Alabama? How many years have you been in FBS? How many bowl games have you been in? And don’t bring up an FCS National Championship, as we have one too. I’m a nice guy and don’t stir the pot much, but we are not inferior to CC. Know your place and realize you and CC are newbies here and haven’t even played an SBC game yet. We are charter members of SBC football and not now or ever have been inferior to CC. For that matter I know my football well, but can’t honestly say I that had ever heard of Coastal Carolina until recently. Golata tried apologizing and dropping it and you just won’t let it go.

I did not know that . I was just using the abbreviation . I will use CCU now. It was an honest mistake. I get it though We are UL Monroe La Monroe Louisna Monroe Etc... ULM just easier.
