Some bad blood brewing between the TXST/ULM teams.

ULM player (Nathan Reynolds) takes out our first baseman (Ryan Newman) in the 9th inning of game 1 of the series. Newman never returned the rest of the series and no clue how severe his injury is.

In the 2nd inning in game 2 we throw at Reynolds in his first AB of the game. Ump immediately issues bench warnings to both benches. Bottom of the 2nd and ULM throws at us the first pitch of the first at-bat. Would have thought that would have resulted in an ejection for the ULM pitcher but it didn't. Lot of jawing back and forth between both teams in games 2 and 3, both players and coaches.

Harrington got tossed in the 2nd inning of game 3 arguing balls and strikes but I think he was more making a point of what he though of the umpiring throughout the entire series. In the top of the 9th with 2 outs in game 3, Reynolds comes to the plate and we play "I'm a Barbie girl" over the speakers as he walks to the plate. Reynolds struck out to end the series and reliever Broc Bosse bowed up on Reynolds a bit after the strikeout.

Could be interesting if these teams meet in Statesboro. TXST wins the series 2-1, disappointing not to sweep though honestly.

Wow, one thing for the team to be doing what they do, but speaks volumes when the press box gets involved.

A couple years back an opposing player gets peeved and the press box would play music that made fun of the player. I thought it was great. Wish we still did it.

We regularly have terrible music playing over our speakers as the upperclassmen pick the walkup music for all the freshman and they come up with some awful selections.
