Ahh, that's why I recognized him - was watching the interview with him at halftime and couldn't figure out why he looked so familiar. Great to see one of our (coaching) alumni doing so well! Maybe this will be the year a 16 seed finally pulls off the huge upset!

I'd follow my Tribe to Djibouti to watch them play in a NCAAT game so heading out west in the good ol USA would amount to nothing more than a welcomed mini vacation. That's a nice problem to have year in year out.

If the chairman of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee says a team was in regardless and you choose to run with a fan conspiracy theory instead, I don't think anything can convince you otherwise. There is literally no more authoritative source on it that exists.

We are agreed on the latter part of your statement. I remember folks on here exulting in VCU losing an exhibition game against a D2 opponent and declaring the imminent demise of VCU Basketball. I'll take VCU having to go to Salt Lake City to dance for the 7th consecutive year, all things considered.

Here's to the Tribe one day having to grumble about the massive inconvenience of having to travel somewhere for the NCAA tournament.

The NCAA is as corrupt as any organization in the country and the guy in which you put so much faith $it$ at the head table of that organization. Go ahead and take him at his word...it's not worth my time to lay out all the reasons you should reconsider. I don't watch basketball outside of W&M so, obviously, I won't watch a single play in the tournament. I earned a Masters degree at VCU but I couldn't pick your coach out of a 2 person line-up but best of luck to your Rams.

CofC lost to Colorado St in NIT first round.

UNCW v UVA today at 1245

The seedings in the NIT were shredded, lots of lower seeds getting home games and a shot to move on - including Richmond.

Charleston's bracket also got blown to shreds. Had they knocked off Colorado State, they would have had home court position up to the semis at MSG.

Will be interesting to see who ends up in NY. It does look like Syracuse has one avenue which will help the tix and atmosphere at MSG.

And, Syracuse loses to Ole Miss......
