Tuberville was making 2.2M.....Troy currently pays $660K.....His wife would shoot him in the face.

It's not always about money... he also knows one more good year at Troy (we return a lot of his team) he will get P5 offers.

Small step this year or big step next year?

Brown will likely get a new contract at Troy making more than 700k a year

But would he agree to the new buyout terms of that contract that could be a hinderance to him getting P5 offers?

I don't have a clue... but is a 2-3million dollar buy out that big of a deal to a P5 program if they really want someone?

Please when its that big of a difference it is about the money. That is generational life changing pay. Also Cincy is a huge step up, and on P5 conferences short list.

Florida Atlantic, Western Kentucky, Temple and South Florida. Footballscoop is quoting a local reporter who is saying Fickell to Cincinnati is done, we'll know soon I guess.

"This is really, really hard. People start coming to your door and say hey, ‘I got four million dollars.’ But you know what, I’d rather coach Temple’s kids. I love these kids. I’d rather coach here and coach Temple’s kids then just sell my soul for four million dollars. That is the truth and that’s as honest and open as I can be with you guys."
