Neal Brown to Cincinnati Bearcats!??
Per ESPN, sources say that Neal Brown (TROY) or Jeff Brohm (WKU) are the leading candidates to replace coach Tuberville.

The carousel is in full, super fast speed. A lot of jobs will be filled and opened over the next week. There will be a ton of movement and our conference should see its share. There are a lot of fan bases unhappy with their current results. I wouldn't be surprised to see a playoff team need a new coach after all is said and done.

Current job openings, off the top of my head.

Purdue
GaSt
Houston
Cinncinatti
Oregon
Baylor

LSU(already filled)

Edit: forgot and added Baylor

Not according to sources familiar with the situation. We all said it would probably happen

PJ Fleck will say no and wait for something better. Charlie Strong will make more money by not working.

RE: Neal Brown to Cincinnati Bearcats!??
I think Jeff Brohm will get the Cincinnati job. Charlie Strong will take a year off unless the USF Bulls job becomes open, I could see him going to Tampa or if Florida loses their coach to Oregon. Usually today, everything starts moving and by the looks of it Harsin & Taggart are the finalists for the Oregon job, I suspect that Taggart gets it. Sonny Dykes seems to have the Baylor job locked up if they can't find anyone else to take it which will open up a very appealing Cal job for someone.

I was wondering if the Georgia Southern loss would hurt Brown's chances of going elsewhere.

So far, thank you Georgia Southern. That loss may have been a blessing in disguise.

I highly doubt that one loss had any affect on things. The biggest break you guys are getting right now is that the bigger programs appear to be having more success pulling in their top choices.

When we went threw this for 3 straight years, every single one of the bigger programs went after higher level coaches, and every single one of those coaches said no.

I think Taggart might be a mistake. Like Strong, his strength has been getting talent out of South Florida. I think going to the West Coast would put him out of his element and have disappointing results. I think he's a great coach, but just not the right situation for him in my opinion.

So Jeff Brohm to Purdue, doubt Strong or Fleck takes Purdue. Could see Satt and/or Brown getting looks there.

Would he spend $4500 of his own money towards free bowl tickets for students if he wasn't going to be there?

Just for the record...I know a guy who works for the University Athletic Department and He said to me just this Morning to stop worrying about Brown leading because he is not leaving this year.

They're never leading until they do. You may be right, but we've seen enough that you can't believe what anyone says.

He's probably not leaving this year, but yeah, don't believe stuff like that when it comes to football coaches. They care about relationships, but to a degree they don't if that makes sense. It's a business to them.
