Sorry but I do not understand your piss poor attitude towards this bowl. Nice location, nice to visit and Dollar General will be a good sponsor. You may find Dollar General a good place to shop if you stayed out of K-Mart do much.

KMarts are getting harder to find in Arkansas but you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Dollar General. Seems like you can be driving out in the middle of nowhere, hit a community that consist of nothing more than a few ramshackle houses and a small gas station/convenience store. Just 200 yards away is a "Dollar General".

I believe K Mart is shutting down. I know the one in Jonesboro is and I thought I read it's not just a reduction of stores.

DG has 12,400 stores and is worth 11.25 billion. We're good with it.

RE: TROY vs Ohio in Dollar General Bowl discussion
My point to GEAUX UL is to challenge his attitude toward the bowl apparently because of it's sponsor, Dollar General. To me it speaks of a pretentious attitude which serves no one well and may hurt others. During a fairly successful career, I always made it a point to speak to the so called lower employees I came in contact with by name just as I did senior management because I was raised that way, I enjoyed it, and hopefully it helped all to understand that I cared. And it may surprise you to know how much help they could be along the way. Regarding the bowl, Dollar General is a great success story and very profitable employing thousands of very good people providing for their families. Proud for them.

As a parent of a player,I can say the whole 5 day bowl experience left a great impression on a young man.Great hotel, great parade, great shrimp boil,2 GREAT bands, great fan support, great job by the DG bowl committee and lastly ....Ohio's (Russell) players were left wishing they were an Adidas school from the difference in bowl gear quality....HA

They need to dump using the sponsor names in the bowl title.
It should be the...
Mobile Bowl
sponsored by Dollar General
