Rematch of the 2010 New Orleans Bowl.

Thoughts? I think this should be a good match up. Im sure Ohio wants revenge for that 48-21 loss.

Ohio is much improved since then I believe... they had their shot even at the end of the game to beat WMU in the MAC championship game

Dg is practically on every corner. I got no bones about this one. We needed a sponser and they steped up.

I am thrilled to be back in a bowl regardless of what it is called. Much better than last year's season. I have already purchased my 5 tickets but must say I hate the date but will not miss the opportunity to cheer on my team and the SBC. I wish nothing but success to all teams representing the SBC in bowl games.

Maybe Texas State really was just that good.

On a side note, I hope all Belt teams do well. I will assume Troy and USA wins while Arkansas State inexplicably gets blown out.

With a 2-2 record head'n down the year end stretch I'm not feel'n too confident go'n into this bowl. I feel like that preverbal "chip on our shoulder" is no longer there. We need to get our Mojo back.

Agreed! Glad to be back in a bowl. The exposure means EVERYTHING!

As a recent graduate I'm just glad to see Troy go to a bowl and I think Ohio is a fun matchup. All I know is I really hope we win and finish strong because opening next season in Boise we need good mojo on our side.

Frank Solich-coached teams are sooooo boring. But that man somehow finds a way to get results. They are really physical, but I still think Troy should win this one especially since it should virtually be a home game. Don't turn the ball over (unlike us last year) and I think Troy could win handily.

Coach Brown bought the first 100 students at the Dining hall at 730 this morning free tickets to the bowl game...Turn out was so high the Athletic Department matched Browns offer so 200 free tickets for students.

We've got a few "Troy fans" that seek the negative in everything. We will be pretty well represented in Mobile. The date will keep a few away, but most will do their best to make the trip.
