Why on earth would we want Farmer? Get rid of TK and Sumners. Go for Charleston Southern or JMUs coach and find an up and coming young, fundraising manic for a AD.

Other rumor is that the stadium is ahead of schedule, but I have nothing to back that up.

Because if the only complaint Cajun fans have about him is that they're not in the AAC, I can live with that. He did a good job at Troy and there's been a lot of good fund-raising and facility improvements at ULL under him.

I think many of my Cajun brothers would back me up when I say that SF has underperformed significantly regarding the fund-raising efforts. I won't speculate on other short-comings...........

With the current state of the oilfield and a 2.25 million buyout, yes...looks like he has 1 more year at least. If he has another year like these 2, I believe we will have the 1.5 for next year.

If I was them, I'd promote their baseball coach to AD.

Farmer reassigned within the department to a teaching position.

AD search to begin immediately guided by Mike Alden.

Lots of reasons for what happened today, some business, some personal. Mr. Farmer did a decent job, but we're moving on.

The presence of Alden in the search tells me, we're knocking this one out of the park.

Interesting that they held a press conference before having someone lined up, but I ain't no PR guy.

Just a couple years ago you guys were claiming him and Hud were the best in the conference. All the fund raising, stadium additions and on field success. Now he's reassigned and the Cajun fan base is essentially MIA.
