Really cool moment when they announce Greg Madia for the next question and watching Ravens face light up with a big smile. Lets you know how much Greg is liked by the players.

Thanks for sharing 85. That was a cool interview. Raven was special player for JMU.

Saw some news out of the Cowboys camp.

According to David Helman who works for the Cowboys the backup OT's really are struggling. Went on to say Ron'Dell Carter jumped out for the first time this week, getting a pressure/sack on DiNucci

I've been checking the Cowboys beat reporters on twitter every day, hoping for some news on either, and saw this:

"Cowboys QB coach Doug Nussmeier said rookie seventh-round pick Ben DiNucci is a "talented guy. He's got a long way to go. ...The speed of the game for him is fast." He mentioned that getting touches to the backup QBs is hard without preseason games."

The Cowboys have 4 QBs in camp; besides Prescott and Dalton, there is DiNucci and Clayton Thorson, who was a 5th-round draft pick of the Eagles in 2019. Thorson is who DiNucci needs to beat out for a practice squad or potential roster spot.

QB Passing Totals (2-minute):

DiNucci: 2-2 (none)
Thorson: 1-2 (none)

David Helman

@HelmanDC

Sean McKeon, the rookie TE, had his best day of camp today. he made a really impressive, diving/sliding catch on a 20+ yard throw from Clayton Thorson. later, Ben DiNucci found him between the safety and linebacker on a perfectly thrown seam ball for a ~20-yard TD

Quote:The lack of preseason games has been a huge blow to trying to project the bottom of the QB depth chart. We know Prescott and Dalton are the top two, so it’s really just a question of Dallas keeps Ben DiNucci or Clayton Thorson or just goes without a third QB entirely.

I’ve heard more good things about DiNucci’s performance coming out of camp than Thorson. Between that and being a rookie that this coaching staff had a say in drafting, the JMU product seems the safer pick to make the team.

The bigger question mark if if the Cowboys even keep a third QB. If this was still Jason Garrett’s team then I’d probably guess not, but Mike McCarthy has a long history of keeping three quarterbacks with the Packers. As long as Dallas perceives any future value in DiNucci then I think they stash him on the roster to avoid a practice squad poaching.

Check out the Indiana Fever Facebook page - a couple of great pictures of Kamiah cheering from the bench.

Fever plays Chicago tonight at 6 on CBS Sports. Cheer them on - the Fever are right on the bubble of making the playoffs.

Dylan Stapleton (Texans) broke something in his shoulder area. No surgery needed supposedly. 5-7 week heal time. Not good for someone like him that needs reps to prove himself and make a roster.

Update: Still in at the start of the 2nd quarter. Working hard. Nice board and a stick back. Up to 7 pts now.

Unfortunately, John Daka was released today.

Hope he catches on somewhere else or lands on the practice squad.

Kamiah's final stat line:

17 min, 13 pts, 4, reb, 2 asst. She was a perfect 4-4 from the field, including 3-3 from 3, and 2-2 from FT line.

Surprised to see Daka cut, but I think there is a good chance he gets a shot elsewhere or on the practice squad in Baltimore.

I hope we find a way to keep him. There was an article a week or so ago noting he was impressive, but the Ravens are deep at that position. Quote from a local article, "While Daka is among the first cuts, this could be a case where the Ravens are hoping to sneak him through to their practice squad where they can continue his development this season for another shot next year."

Nice write-up on Kamiah's game last night. It was a lot of fun to watch her and I thought she brought a ton of energy to the court when she was playing. Hopefully this is the beginning of a good season for her.
