Might have been the easiest catch of his career, too.

Unfortunately Jimmy Moreland had his name called out for the wrong reason in the game. Called for roughing the kicker, which extended a drive that led to a TD. Penalty looked weak on the replay. I could see it being running into the kicker, as he did make contact, but it didn't look like the kicker's plan leg was still exposed/vulnerable.

Jimmy Moreland is supposedly starting today with Josh Norman being a healthy scratch.

Skins have reversed course and Norman is now active, FWIW.

Having said that, Skins should be playing Moreland more and more to give him experience and evaluate him the rest of the way. I am fairly confident Norman will be released in the offseason.

Yep. Wish so much he would've pulled that one down. In fact, coulda woulda shoulda been a pick-6 to win the game and would've given him a lot of highlight reel replays all night. But, he had a good game just the same. Good for him. He has a solid future. Funny how you don't hear anybody saying anything about his lack of size nowadays.

He needs to keep progressing. The Skins don't have a bounty of draft picks in the upcoming draft. JF'nM stepping up to potentially be a starter next year full-time with Norman's fat paycheck somewhat off the books will lessen the need to expend a pick on a corner. That assumes of course the Skins release Norman before his final year of his 5-year contract in the offseason. Even then, JF'nM could make that decision easier with solid play in the final month of the season.

He played very well. The dropped pick six was a bummer but he is an upgrade from Josh Norman at this point. Looking forward to watching him play a ton the rest of the season.
