Saw in the Washington Post today in the transaction column that the Packers put raven Greene on IR yesterday.

Bummer.

Brian

From what I've read, he may return after week 13... He can be designated to be pulled off IR

sort of a mixed bag for Jimmy, some good, some bad

How about Gardner Minshew? Just 2 short years ago JMU rattled him and pressured him into 7-18 82 yards and a pick before he was benched at ECU.
He has fared well for himself as the starter in Jacksonville which plays in tonights’s NFL game.
I’m not sold on him, but he has found a way into the prime time.

JMUs DBs that year included two NFL players, one who would be NFL already if he didn't tear an ACL and miss a year and a very underrated Jordan Brown. No shame in Minshew's performance against us.

I bet close to half of those incompletions JMU got flagged for PI or defensive holding..How many did JMU have in that game? 5-6?

defensive penalties don't count in the stats so he was way worse. Home cooking like Carolina teams always get.

Who tore their ACL that year?

Who tore their ACL that year?

He’s referring to Robinson, saying if he hadn’t torn his ACL last year he’d be in the NFL now.

He didnt tear his ACL, he had turf toe surgery which is why I'm a little more concerned with his level of play this year. If it was an ACL i can understand him being a half step slower but turf toe recovery time is significantly less than the 9 months for an ACL. Maybe there was more to his injury last year

I spoke to RR's dad before the game Saturday and we did discuss speed and how it takes time to regain it after an injury, but I didn't ask any specifics about the injury and his recovery. At that time I did not know he wasn't going to be playing Saturday. Hopefully he didn't re-injure his foot.

I can barely remember last week, let alone 16 months ago. We'll call it a "lower leg injury" 04-cheers

I think Cignetti said Robinson was back to full speed at practice this week.

From espn:
Quote:But Coach Bruce Arians indicated that they'd be without starting right guard Alex Cappa (arm) and likely starting right tackle Demar Dotson (hamstring). "It's 'next-man-up,'" Arians said. "You can't make excuses, so we'll have a new right side of our line probably this week." Earl Watford is expected to step in for Cappa and Josh Wells -- assuming there are no issues with his wife having a baby, which forced him to miss Wednesday's practice -- will step in for Dotson.

I noticed Jimmy Moreland didn’t have any tackles or any other stats this past week. Is he in the dog house and not playing anymore?
