BGSU struggled to beat FCS North Dakota, winning as ND failed to convert a game-winning two-point conversion.

My real hope for this game was for the fellas to keep it at least respectable...

Well, that's been shot.

Playcalling shows a lack of trust in Porter to throw downfield.

A veteran QB--Roback would have really helped. Brogan Roback has really let his team down. I hope he feels like crap.

Well, I've had all about I can stand of watching this mess. It's particularly disappointing to see how far we still have to go after being in Stillwater and watching CMU's performance against Oklahoma State. Damn.

Any doubt that Roback will start next week?

I'm sick of only being able to beat garbage teams and only very very infrequently. No point without a signature win.

What CMU accomplished today is probably something none of us will experience in our lifetimes. How ridiculous.

Mizzou must have their second string in the game.

I liked the tuck and run when he saw the play had failed. Very alert.

EMU shows flashes offensively and defensively. If they ever put it all together...

Our DBs are blowing coverage and leaving Tigers open to score. Sheesh, these guys really suck. I mean really. Shep and Rubick said the DB ran the other way from the receiver. Heck, I'm an old dude now but I know enough not to do something stupid like that.

We've seen worse teams.

True but I thought they were supposed to be improved. I'm looking hard but I don't see it.

RE: Game Week: Missouri
Back down to earth. DBs just don't have the speed/talent to keep up with Mizzou. We can't hang with an SEC team, we shouldn't be surprised by that. We're playing without our starting QB and RB, both of whom will hopefully play next week at Charlotte.

The final score won't be pretty, but let's get out with no more injuries and prepare for next weekend.

RE: Game Week: Missouri
Mizzou has 520 yards so far. So much for an improved defense.

I hate to be a "the shy is falling" person but, at this point, I am seeing no more than two or three wins this season. It's not like the MAC West is going to be a cake walk. Obviously, our football team is somewhere between the blowout win we had last week and the blowout loss this week and that's to be expected. However, the team is still not playing smart or moving the ball well and that will bite them in the collective arse when MAC play starts.
