Sun Belt Week 1 Predictions

Also, that 240 lb running back named Hurd, is a load to tackle, watched replays of the 2015 Tenn season last night, and no one could bring him down with the initial hit, he is a beast.

Watch his game against us from a couple years ago. 23 carries for 83 yards.

I have made a point not to watch any highlights of his. Eric Boggs reminds me a bit of Luke Kuechly in that he is built the same way, plays fast and is a sure tackler. I'm hoping that the defensive line can hold their ground because no one is going to fight off a block and tackle Hurd at the same time. If Law and Boggs are kept clean then they may have an opportunity.

No one wants to read the stat line after the game as 40 carries 395 yards 4 TD's rushing. FWIW, UTk is starting a redshirt freshman at left tackle so I'm hoping Stringer is switched on occasion.

Freshman versus a junior at what amounts to an NFL Scout team with 3 summers of offseason weight training. I'm sure there is a little bit of a difference.

Could be. Glancing at his stats he's been roughly the same player for the past two season, just got more carries last year.

In reality, it all depends on how the offensive line plays. If Law and Boggs are free to fly around, he will be mitigated.....if not...well....WHITE OUT NEXT WEEK!

Really? Huh, I kind of thought we were way more delusional about keeping the old-fashioned/traditional unis than most.

We do. That's why some people freak out over the smallest changes.

I think our alternates for this game could be really cool as long as the gold isn't mustard yellow

Gold is one of our secondary colors and we rarely use it so I think they are trying bring more gold into our stuff. They are calling it the "gold rush unis"

My main issue is the last few years we've made a push to make silver a bigger accent color for us than gold, so this kind of throws all that away.

I'm all for alternates though.
