Kaine would make a lot of sense and would be less objectionable than radicals like Elizabeth Warren or Julian Castro. That being said, I could easily see the DNC/Clinton Campaign doubling-down on a more progressive VP pick seeing that Donald Trump is the opposition.

It will be either Castro or Kaine. In an election where Senate control will be up for grabs, automatically giving a seat to the other party would be a mistake. So Warren is out. So is Cory Booker. So is Sharrod Brown.

I figured that Castro was going to be the primary consideration. Is he ready for the big-stage? He did well giving his address at the DNC last time, but I'm almost 100% sure he's the one the Dems will choose

Her best choice if she wants a safe pick in Virginia would be Mark Warner, not Kaine. At least Warner was a decent governor, though he caught DC fever.

Why? What has he done for the country? The only benefit in the Demons eyes is that he's hispanic. That still won't make me vote for Killary. Since the Demons are going the socialist route little by little why doesn't she just get Bernie as her running mate. She'll get the young, idle, living in their parents homes votes.
