Civale is now 5-0 with a 2.91 ERA. He went 7 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 ER, 2 walks and 5 K's.

RE: Aaron Civale
I drafted Civale in one of my fantasy leagues (a steal - pick # 219 overall) but traded him early in the season after he had just made a strong start, as part of a 6-player deal that netted me Kenta Maeda and Edwin Diaz. I needed the roster spots and decided to sell high on Civale while buying low on Maeda and Diaz.
That appears to have been a mistake. Especially since Maeda continues to struggle and Civale is soaring.
Good thing this one isn't a money league...

Haha yup, I feel shame for that decision. I thought I was being clever. Not at all, evidently.
I'm still in 1st place in that league in spite of that. But I'd have an even wider gap between me and the 2nd place team with Civale on my team.

I’ve never played fantasy baseball or any other sports. It’s not my thing.
It has certainly been the season of pitchers in MLB that’s for sure.

RE: Aaron Civale
The Indians hosted the Mariners tonight and the starters on the hill featured a Beanpot matchup between Civale of NU and Justin Dunn of BC.
And this one was no contest, as Civale and the Tribe beat the M's 7-0.
Civale was dominant, pitching 8 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, and a career-high 11 K's. He retired the last 22 batters he faced to move to 9-2, 3.17 on the season.
He becomes the first AL pitcher with nine wins and tied LA's Julio Urias for ML lead in wins. Civale is now 15-0 when his teammates score at least three runs.

RE: Aaron Civale
Civale has been throwing off a mound for more than two weeks, according to Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
He could soon be ready to face hitters in live batting practice before heading out on a minor-league rehab assignment
What's crazy is that Civale (who's on the 60-day IL) is still tied for third in the AL with 10 wins, only 1 off the lead...and he hasn't pitched in over 6 weeks.
What could've been if he were healthy. The Tribe fell out of the AL Central race once Shane Bieber and Civale went down with injuries...

RE: Aaron Civale
According to multiple reports, Civale will start against the Twins on Tuesday. Hasn't pitched in the big leagues since June 21.
Civale will be on the mound against former CofC ace Bailey Ober who will start for the Twins. He'll also likely face Twins catcher and former UNCW star Ryan Jeffers.
CAA Baseball is well represented...

RE: Aaron Civale
So Civale didn't go against Ober on Tuesday, as the Twins started Ober on Monday instead.
Civale had a nice debut, pitching 4.2 innings (3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K) in the 3-0 loss to the Twins.
He's still 10-3 with a 3.25 ERA on the season.

RE: Aaron Civale
Civale picked up his 11th win Saturday in the Bronx against the Yankees.
He worked 6 scoreless innings allowing just 4 hits, 1 BB and 4 K’s in the 11-3 win.
It was his first win since coming off the Injured List.

RE: Aaron Civale
What's up everyone,
If you have a few minutes, take time to cast a vote for Aaron Civale who is the Indians nominee for the annual Roberto Clemente Award.
Every year, each MLB Club nominates a player to be considered for the Award in tribute to Clemente's achievements and character.

RE: Aaron Civale
Civale is reportedly scheduled to make his last start Sunday in Texas.
He got a no-decision (5.1 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 3 K, 2 HR) Tuesday at Kansas City. He's currently 11-5 with a 4.03 ERA.
Civale is 1-3 with a 7.84 ERA in his 5 starts after coming off the IL on Sept. 7th.

RE: Aaron Civale
Civale started the last game in the 107-year history of the Cleveland Indians, as next year they officially become the Cleveland Guardians. He got the win 6-0.
Civale went 6 innings, allowing 3 H, 1 BB w/4 K's to end the season 12-5 with a 3.84 ERA.
He had an excellent season. Can only imagine what kind of season he would have had if not for the injury that caused him to miss 2+ months.
