SBC Weekend Baseball 4-29 to 5-1 Top 25's do battle as Chants head to Ga Tech
Conference:
UL-Lafayette at Texas Arlington
Troy at Texas State
Georgia Southern at UL-Monroe
South Alabama at Georgia State
Arkansas State at Appalachian State
Nonconference:
Tennessee Tech at Little Rock
Future SBC:
Coastal Carolina at Georgia Tech
Important matchups this week:
With the weather forecast in Boone looking awful, AState and App will begin their SBC Tournament elimination series with a DH today. They might be the only games that get played for the series.
With AState nipping on their heels, 8th place Georgia State will take it's shot at beating a South Alabama team that would like to solve its curse of playing down to its competition
ULM and Georgia Southern look to rebound from miserable weekends in Monroe this week, where the Weather forecast is well...miserable.
ULL heads to Arlington hoping to gain ground on USA as the matchup between the leagues top two looms ever closer.
Texas State tries to forget what's been a hellish couple of weeks as Troy comes to town.
Also, Full attention should be given to the other matchup in Atlanta involving an SBC team as Coastal Carolina takes a shot at a ranked Georgia Tech squad.

Terrible loss for App in the first game. More hits, but left them on.
Tanner Mann-Fix had himself a day. 6-8 with two walks, two HR's, a triple, two doubles and a single. 20 total bases in the two games.
Our pitching was a disaster today outside of Tyler Zuber coming out of nowhere to throw well in Game 1.
Honestly, I'm cheering for a rain out tomorrow. Our pitching situation isn't pretty. We've got our closer and our #3 starter, and that's about it.

I'd send you the steps to a Sacred Rain Dance my People have done for Centuries . .
But the last time I trotted it out, I started a 3 year drought. . .

Incredible play by CCU center fielder on Sportscenter's top plays.
That said, those uniforms are horrendous. They look like the desperate getups of the douchy slow pitch softball teams who tour around every summer, trying to recapture the glory of long lost days.

Here's the play:
Not a fan of the uniforms. Hope we retire them after the beating we took.
