We're using the messy part of our pitching staff today

Astate flies out to the wall with the tying run up. We lose yet another conference series

USA has a 3 game lead already in the league standings. If Little Rock holds on to sweep Troy, we'd have USA at the top, a group of 4 clustered together in GS, ULL, TXST, and LR, and then a remaining group of 6 clustered together in AState, Troy, GSU, ULM, UTA, and App

Coastal beats Stetson 12-2 for the series sweep. Only one homerun today, it was by one of Coastal's power hitters. For the series, Stetson gave up 9 homeruns to Coastal and had only given up 6 in all previous games this season.
Stetson aren't highly rated but we really needed the sweep and are currently 16-9. We have a SOS currently in the 15-20 range and have come out of it a bit more bruised than many of us thought we would. We face The Citadel in a midweek game and then a 21-6 Gardner-Webb team.

Had bases loaded no outs b9 and left them stranded. How does a team batting .309 do this all the time?

Good pitching, usually trumps (if I can use that word) good hitting . . . . my only explanation . . .

Eh, just lots of smack going round
"Man you guys suck"
"Just wait till football Statesboro"
"So what, we can beat you in that too?"
"Hey, bring back Chris Brown in to pitch, I like him, he sucks"
"That's my son"
"Well good, did you know he sucks?"
"Scoreboard"
"Man I really hate these guys"
Pretty typical for a game here.
For the record, I exaggerated a little there with names. Just chose chris brown out of thin air because it's who I spent most of the weekend yelling at.

Ah, the old "you beat us at this sport, but we might beat you at a different one" method.

Well, to be fair, the Twitter World Georgia Southern fans were talking about another sport that they own us at. (Which, for the record, 4-3 in 7 games is not dominating someone) Since you guys have only beaten us at Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball, and baseball, you are in theory doing the same thing.
