04-cheers I really thought you guys had the chance to blow this one open a couple times. Should be another good game tomorrow night. Can you please not play Tanner Hill tomorrow?

We won't play our Hill, if you don't play yours.

Coastal beat Stetson 17-5 in a game that saw one player hit two home runs and another player hit a grand slam all in the same inning. Coastal hit 8 home runs in the game and Stetson hit 2.

I either misread something or it was a typo in what I read ... only 6 homeruns for us and 8 total for both teams in the game. But 6 dingers ties a record for us.

Were you playing on a tee ball field?

Astate playing without 4 starters tonight against Georgia southern. Running a makeshift lineup of freshman and bench guys instead.

This might get ugly

Haha - no, at home. Just good hitting able to get to Stetson's pitching. They went through 6 pitchers today. One of the homers was the first of our guys to clear the 20 foot tall batter's eye.

Do we have some guys hurt or is Raffo fed up? Seems unlike him to make this many changes and in conf. season to boot.

All hurt. And a mind numbingly bad coaching decision just let us blow a 4 run 7th inning lead tonight

I'm shocked they aren't screaming this from the mountaintops, but App State won a baseball game today, beating ULM 6-5.

Also, Little Rock won their 5th straight today, and will go for the sweep of Troy tomorrow. Trojans still have a guy hitting .500 on the season...which is pretty good.

I'm afraid many folks have stopped paying attention. And to be fair, ULM may have lost the game more than we won it.

Charlie Cobb's last act as AD was to extend Billy Jones' contract. We've gone from one game away from a super regional (under Pollard) to an absolute dumpster fire under Jones. Thanks to Charlie he has 2 more years under contract. Maybe, just maybe we buy out one year but no chance we take a hit on two.

Yeah, that guy for LR is a beast. For some reason we threw to him all of last weekend, and he made us pay.
