2016 Tribe Basketball: Bench Players Analysis
W&M looks to be pretty strong coming off the bench again this season. With Whitman and Malinowski both moving into starting roles, their old spots are open. Outside of these two spots (sixth man, and first big man sub), it looks like the Green and Gold will be able to rotate several players into the lineup--as Shaver prefers to do.

Check out our analysis of the players coming off the bench in 2016. LET'S GO TRIBE!!!

What do you all think? How much will incoming Freshmen Knight and Pierce contribute? What about Schlotman's role moving forward? I'm assuming we're all agreed that Tot and Burchfield will be big contributors..or aren't we?

RE: 2016 Tribe Basketball: Bench Players Analysis
Very good analysis...

Look for Rowley and Burchfield to spend lots of time in the weight room as coaches want them to put on 15-20 pounds and more muscle. Burchfield demonstrated he can penetrate and that he has a neat little jump shot
around the keyhole. Coaches remain high on Rowley; just crowded ahead of him.

Expect to see lots of Tott on the perimeter defense using his wide body, long arms, and height. I can see him on the court with Cohn at times.

Personally, I believe Knight will play lots of minutes...while he is raw he shows very good moves around the basket and also shoots from the outside. If he can play some defense he will play.

Pierce has been called "Prewitt on steroids" by one of our coaches. If he also can play tough defense
he could end up in the rotation.
