There are plenty of tv options for less than $40.

I had high speed internet when I has satellite and I have it now that I do not so that is a wash.

I pay for SlingTV, Hulu and Netflix which came to like $43 last month because I have the $5 SlingTV sports pack added.

Next is to connect an antenna in the attic to satellite wiring for whole house OTA,

So you are saving about $25-$40 a month vs a traditional cable/satellite package with interenet. The thing that annoys me the most is the extra "fees" that they don't tell you about until the bill comes (franchise fee, FCC fee/taxes, connection fee, other random federal and local taxes, etc...) those are about $40 when added up for the internet, phone, and cable. I really wish services would give a flat price with all fees and taxes included.

I was paying $180/month for satellite to 5 or 6 TVs

And/or get HDHomeRun Connect to plug the antenna into:

An aplifier for an antenna is somewhat cheaper. Connect to exiting home wiring and then I can connect any TV to the cable outlet in the room and get an OTA signal.
