This is not such an easy win. Elon has some quality wins and no bad losses. And they are tough at home. We have to have a very good shooting night. If we play like we did at ETSU, we will win convincingly. We we play like we did at EZU, then we could be run off the court.

If, somehow, JMU, Drexel, Towson and Charleston win tonight, there would be a 7-way tie for 1st place at 3-2.

7-4 Hawks at the under 16:00. After going 0-14 from 3 the last time we were in this building, we've knocked down a pair of perimeter shots already, both by Flemmings.

We're playing well defensively. No easy looks so far. Gettys and Bryan taking turns enforcing in the post.

We're using a lot of "skip passes" against the zone, and it's working pretty nicely. Ponder hit a 3 off one of them.

Lead cut to 8. Elon using a 1-3-1 zone, after, I believe, trying the 2-3 zone earlier. It's been more effective for them, and the Phoenix offense has come alive as well.

I'm beginning to believe that how Flemmings goes, so go the Hawks. I just wonder if he knows how good of a take over player he really is. He's shown signs.
