That backup QB helped come back to beat Toledo AT Toledo... and won a full game against a likely-bowl-bound Buffalo team. He's not a bad QB at all. In other words, this isn't a limping NIU offense we'll face.

Posters sounds so official, just a fans that happen to not love the coach. Happens everywhere. You guys act like we all should goose step or risk being outted like that ONE GUY who wouldn't salute Hitler.

With the way Toledo is beating up on BG, and the fact that they have been able prepare for WMU over the past two weeks studying our tendencies against BG and NI. Im not to confident that WMU will have the game plan they need to beat Toledo. All of the RTB and HOW is wearing thin shut up and win some big football games. If the fans are getting antsy how are the players holding up????

I gave you an apples to apples analogy, just tell me if you'd pick WMU if they were missing their starting QB and their #2 receiver.


Look at the stats genius, Lewis is their second best receiver and he's done that while being out several games.

During the Toledo game it was all hype about NIU losing their starting QB and #1 receiver -- which I call #2 (as does many I imagine). But #3/#4? No. He's a KEY #2 when healthy.

I think TLL will come in and play at least a bit. At least to keep the WMU D on their heels.

Lewis is the second best receiver. Not sure if Chip is saying he's second or 3/4 he says both.

There is a player that somewhat replicates what Lewis does but I think Lewis is a bit more polished and is a slightly bigger threat. Anyone that once had 80 catches in a season and generally demands all sorts of attention is a threat. But Turner replicates him well.

Normally I would consider a team that is on a backup (3rd) a top 2 wide receiver screwed but given they run the ball so much and have basically a similar version of that top 2 receiver they aren't. Doesn't mean they're going to win, but I wouldn't complete write them off. More of a depth thing built. Plus Graham has never played in a game with Lewis available. Lewis went down before Hare and all other games Graham was mop up duty before the one snap he took vs CMU.

If the tables were turned I'd say WMU was screwed but idk what they have behind Braverman and Davis or if Terrell went down. Stats outside of Braverman and Davis take a steep drop.
