Congrats to future member Coastal Carolina. Beat Monmouth on game ending field goal. I have no idea how Monmouth ranks in the FCS world but Coastal kept the dream alive.

Monmouth isn't known as a power house but they have some good wins this year. It wasn't pretty but I'll take the W.

Well at the fcs level Charleston Southern is a solid team that is currently ranked in the top 20

As well as western Illinois who is in the top 25

We beat them pretty handily 44-9 with 2 minutes left. They got a garbage time TD vs our scout team to make it 44-16. I definitely think they've improved since then looking at their wins.

And if you want to get technical Jax St has two fcs ranked teams on their schedule so there isn't much difference between the two besides us being undefeated and yall having a loss to Auburn. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. ?

Just would like to point out charleston southern is ranked as well. I'm not saying that ccu is better because right now we aren't plying that well but two top 25 teams is the same for each.

Yes, congratulations Coastal. I'm happy with you guys as a new Conference addition, your brand recognition is solid as an FCS program and will blend nicely with our current membership roster.

There are a couple of schools I regret losing in the last shake up, such as MTSU and WKU, but I think the Belt has done very well bringing in solid replacements that will improve our brotherhood over time. In my opinion, Sun Belt programs form a family, and we must grow together and maintain a tight-nit community. Many G5 conferences suffer from fanbase disloyalty and splintering of agendas. We Belt fans are different. Welcome to the War, Coastal.

Coastal will be a tremendous add to our conference. JSU fans can cluck and squawk all they want.
