I'm a season ticket holder from out-of-town. I've convinced my seven year old to come with me to the JMU game, but I've semi-promised to find him some form of trick-or-treating. Do any Tribe fans, especially W'burg residents, have any good options or ideas? Is there a nearby neighbor or event in the early evening? Is there any time of tailgate trunk-or-treat (that is, one not involving Paul B dropping an airplane bottle of Makers into my kids bag)? Any ideas appreciated.

I hear the outlets put on a good trick-or-treat event.

The neighborhood on the other side of Jamestown Rd. across from campus (facing PBK and Muscarelle) is a good spot. Starting on Burns all the way down to Griffin Ave.

Check the Colonial Williamsburg web site/schedule of events. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that CW was going to put more emphasis on Halloween this year with more kid friendly activities.

I heard some JMU fans are also trying that approach.

CW is doing some kind of trick or treating event, but be warned that it may be crowded. Be sure to leave time for getting out of there for gametime.

Edit: There's definitely CW trick or treating on Friday, but I'm not sure about Saturday.

The W&M QB Club parking lot will feature trick or treating. Tailgates with candy will have a sign.

This is your best bet, besides it is about a 2 min walk from the stadium.
