Is it wrong that this actually made me respect Idaho a little bit more?
I'm glad someone there (probably a student) cares enough to create and post those around campus.

It shows that fanbase still has a pulse, which is good.

RE: Flyers around the Idaho campus today
Ugh. Paul Petrino took over a program at the absolute rock bottom -- lost its conference, APR in the toilet, massive transfers. The players who should be junior and senior leaders right now are the players who left during the coaching change. And then Petrino had to recruit for a year as an independent with no conference prospects on the horizon. The fact that the team is starting to show signs of life is a minor miracle.
He didn't "physically attack" a reporter. The reporter got yelled at and apparently damaged his delicate feelings.
The Epps situation wasn't handled well from a PR standpoint, but the offenses involved were a DUI and shoplifting of $37 worth of groceries (for which he was kicked off the team an for an entire season), and another shoplifting incident where all the merchandise was returned and Epps suspended for a game. None of this involved violence of any kind and would barely register on the radar at almost any major college sports program.
And hanging Bobby Petrino's sins on Paul is just a cheap shot. Lord knows my brother wouldn't want to be blamed for every dumb*** thing I've done over the years.
I won't go so far as to say we're lucky to have Petrino (3-23 is still 3-23), but I doubt anyone would have done much better given the circumstances. There were a LOT of problems here, most of them have been addressed and corrected, and we're headed in the right direction.

On the bright side, I'm assuming that the flyer is blocking a SPECTACULAR view.

I question which one of Paul or Bobby is more likely to have a job at the end of the season.

I'm just so tired of the feeding frenzy around the guy. He brought some of it on himself but it's mostly about such piddly crap it's embarrassing. There's 15 years of frustration and wounded pride being taken out on the wrong target right now.
When he took the job it was unquestionably the worst job in FBS football. I am more than willing to give him this year and probably next year before I jump on the Fire Petrino bandwagon.

I'm totally prepared to get unreasonable. Just ask me about the administration that got us into this situation in the first place.
