Nah, I have an niu friend that I was having a similar discussion with and showed me this thread. I made the sn to talk about how adorable it was that people though niu was going to the big 12 a while ago, but it took like 2 months for the name to be registered.

HINT: If you want people to take you seriously, to get them really upset, you have to be within a stones throw of Accurate. Bowling Green just beat the p!ss out of Maryland, a B1G team. Toledo just took out #18 Arkansas. The MAC, even on a bad year is never below the Sun Belt. Ohio just took out Marshall -- Marshall, the team who won CUSA, who yes, beat NIU last year, but their 2nd place team also beat Illinois. They had a choice and chose to play NIU over Illinois.

The difference is pretty great from the Top of the MAC to the bottom of the MAC (East, mainly). Look, you can rag the MAC and stuff and get away with a decent amount, but all that depends on what you say. If you're throwing out inaccurate stuff, you'll look like a fool.

Lol, don't worry Illinois, basketball season is coming up pretty soon. I guess that's something to cheer about?
