Watching the tail end of the home opener. Very impressed with the turnout. Over 1400. Announcers said standing room only. This is definitely a sport we should emphasize. Gives the students an event to go to in the fall and is a sport we can be successful in at a low cost. Wilmington has a great soccer culture as a whole and with the sports rising popularity its a no brainer especially for a non football school

The draw against high point tonight was a disappointment. Gotta a lotta chances but just couldn't knock in. Such is soccer sometimes. This team should be a caa title contender again

I'm not up to par on my NCAA soccer knowledge, but our Seahawks seem to off to an impressive start.

Yep! No losses so far is always a good thing. Too bad we let high point get the draw but overall a great start. Our next game is at duke on Tuesday night

Attendance for last night's 5-0 win over sc was over. 1200.

thats great! no reason not to have a big turnout for these games. force them to expand!

Women's team went 2-0 on the weekend as well.

Also, in the last 3 games, the Men's team has outscored its opponents a combined 16-3. Overall on the season we've scored 18 and allowed just 4.

The Women's team is on a similar path of dominance lately, having outscored its opponents 9-1 during its current 4-game winning streak. They head to Greenville on Thursday to face ECU, followed by another road game against Wake Forest on Sunday.

I dont know how big Top Drawer Rankings are, but the NSCAA rankings are what ESPN uses, so GREAT JOB to the team for getting ranked!
