I believe that most in the conference would rather take JMU and/or Mo.St.

We know that JMU's problem is their Admin.

So, what's up with y'all?

Interesting.

So there is a 4th team - Idaho, according to this report.

Could the 4th team be NDSU? They held a press conference today and announced they were fully funding all sports(I think they lacked a few in baseball?) and will be offering FCOA on all scholarships.

It's Idaho according to the video. NDSU would be #5 if that were the case.

You have to hand it to EKU... At least their administration isn't afraid to make the jump.

Well, it is evident that Missouri State isn't interested. Most would prefer MSU, but that would be barking up a dead tree.

Sadly, I think it's more like beating a dead horse up the wrong tree that's also dead, while talking in circles.

I wouldn't mind being part of the SBC if we got a Boise State type of tv deal where we can sublease our games to ESPN and ESPN 2 and got full control over conference matters a'la UT to the Big 12, North Carolina and Florida State to the ACC, Ohio State and Michigan to the Big 10 or USC and Stanford to the Pac 12 or even Boise to the MWC.

This is going to sound like a knock on your university, and it's really not.. but...

You don't rank high enough to warrant such a deal for the Sun Belt. UH doesn't move the needle significant enough for the Sun Belt to add special concessions like that.

Say Big XII implodes and Baylor/Tech end up in a situation without a home? They can finagle a deal like that. UH? Not there yet. Might get there, but not there yet.

You ever see a squirrel in a dead tree? Me either. Dead tree = wrong tree.
