A 3-star recruit 6'11 260 center Bollo Gnahore will play basketball for New Mexico State this fall. Highlights. Marvin Menzies has really upgraded the talent level the last couple of years. Really hoping for us to play basketball in the Sun Belt in the near future.

Bollo also had scholarship offers to Portland State, Southeastern Louisiana and Western Kentucky. That is not three star quality. ESPN, Scout and 247sports do not have him listed. I am not sure why Rivals has him on their list...other than his size. I will give you this, you have a lot of size on your roster.
Charlotte was recruiting this game, although I'm not sure if he was a high priority.
I wanted us to land him, but I think we're getting a 5th year transfer at center instead.
Good get NMSU. Looks like your coach is putting together a pretty nice class. The SBC needs to do the right thing and send you guys a full invite. Having a permanent home would only help the football side of things out.

Most likely NMSU is going to red-shirt him this season.

I would love to play against a 6'11 center. I would be pushing him into the QB every play.

Rivals is the only website to evaluate him. They evaluated him as a three-star recruit. They said he was an aggressive rebounder, and defender. Said he is out of this world skilled. He is no project. He is a stud. Highlights.
You are really bitter. Not sure what you have against NMSU, but dude you really need to stop. I know you're jealous of our program, and I know you wish you could be landing these kids, but how you try to down play every positive thing that happens for this program is total B.S. You need to stop. Seriously. I'm starting to get annoyed.
Thank You.

It is pretty well established - Ga Southern fans only support their football team.
Why would any athlete even considering going to Ga Southern for any other sport?

LOL! You don't need to hype every basketball recruit you get on this board. If you are that invested in hyping NMSU, then hype some of your football recruits. In the Sun Belt, NMSU is a football school.
A real "stud" would have a rating on each site and multiple offers from the top basketball conferences in America. You have already predicted that he would likely redshirt his freshman year, so he really has to be a project. A stud would play right away. Look, there is nothing wrong with a project big man. You can't teach height and he could develop into something special.
I have said that NMSU has a good basketball program. I have said it many times. But every time that you start overhyping NMSU, I have pointed out that you guys have been beating up on the WAC and you don't play well against better competition. Or that you have not had a player drafted into the NBA in 23 years. I can't help it if the facts are annoying to you.

He isn't a project. NMSU hasn't made a decision if he will red-shirt or not. NCAA is still sorting through his high school transcripts. I was only assuming he would red-shirt, because 11 of the other 14 players on our roster red-shirted their first year at NMSU. Pascal Siakam, our best player, and will probably leave NMSU as one of the greatest players of all-time red-shirted his freshman year. So.. your logic that you must be a project if you red-shirt is totally B.S.
I'm not over-hyping NMSU. It's obvious that Marvin Menzies has upgraded the talent level he has been recruiting. I'm excited. NMSU is clearly going to be very good the next 4-5 years. I could see us making a couple of NCAA Tournament runs in 2017, 2018, and 2019. NMSU will have sold point guards, shooting guards who can shoot, 6'7/6'8 wing players with guard skills, 6'9/6'10 skilled forwards, and 6'11/7'3 giants. We have it all.
