SomeOne brought this up on the astatenation boards--if I were a ULM fan I might raise up a stink how the new USM logo looks very similar to the warhawk

I'll take Pepper Boy over Blood Clot . . . .

. . . . But BOBCAT Trumps ALL . . .

I always thought that the WKU mascot was what visited most women once a month and is what made them hard to get along with one week pre and one week post... . I was always grateful to enjoy that one week a month.. . The greatest thing is when their fans swing those red "rags" around and around. Talk about hard core recycling! Those Hill Toppers are a thrifty bunch!

You can tell that his visit was not expected at this time!

Oh wow... okay, trademark issues... whew! I was worried that Eagles got offended and the Hattiesburg City Council forced the school to change mascots...

Other than both being birds with a stern look...not that much alike. Not enough to get all wound about. Of course I thought the same thing with the Iowa logo.

RE: OT: Southern Miss New Logo
I think the new southern miss logo it's more likely to be mistaken for a new Hawkeye logo than the old ones were to have been confused with each other. I just think that anybody who at least somewhat follows college football, already would have known the difference and recognized each for the correct school. This one, they are going to have to think about, and then guess.

WKU mascot is a McDonald's Grimace knock off after a dye job and lap-band procedure.
