Same thing with Fred Jackson. Richardson is a bust.

From all indications, Jonathan Grimes' spot is a lock. The bubble players are Bo Webb and RJ Archer. They need to have a really special game on upcoming final preseason game to make the team.

Is Bo Webb related to Joe Webb, the former 3rd string QB? I hope B. W. Webb makes the Steelers. I guess later this week we will have the full rundown of who made what team.

Mike Reilly is also a question mark. He's played well, but I doubt he cracks the 53

R.J Is getting a great opportunity to perform and prove his worth on the field with the injury to Jackson. That's all you can ask for in the NFL, an opening. I think he done pretty well overall. Anybody know how many QBs the Seahawks kept on the 53 man roster last year. If they go 3 deep at QB I think he's a lock. I could also see RJ making the 53 until Jackson is back to full speed and then being cut or moved to practice squad. I'm not saying Jackson is a better QB than RJ, but the optics/politics of having an unknown name, first year guy one play from being the starter may be hard to sell even if there is little to no advantage to Jackson (other than some name recognition). RJ will play most if not the entire 4th preseason game. Good luck!

From what I see they kept 2 (Wilson and Jackson). Appears they may have had BJ Daniels on their practice roster too. He has been moved to WR though.

RJ is not eligible for the practice squad. He has two previous years on rosters so can't be on a practice squad.

RE: 10 Tribe Players in NFL
They signed him very early in the offseason (a week or two after the Superbowl I think), so I think he has a good shot to make the roster. They wouldn't keep him around this long to cut him, especially if he's ineligible for the practice squad and the other backup is hurt.

RE: 10 Tribe Players in NFL
BW had 8 tackles last night.

In the final preseason game for the Titans, 9 players caught balls...9 in a meaningless game. And, you are correct, Tre caught none. Yes, he played...1 punt return for 0 yards and 1 KO return for 23 yards.

Grimes didn't crack the stat book.

O'Reilly had 3 tackles.

That is just weird about Tre. He has not even been targeted enough to impress, much less caught any.

Grimes appears to have been held out of the game along with Alfred Blue. That's good news and almost certainly means he's locked up a spot on the final roster (although this likely was never in doubt with Foster out for at least the first month).

Two possibilities here:

1) Titans are not at all impressed with Tre and are planning to cut him, thus the lack of game play.
2) Titans are fairly impressed with Tre and plan to put them on practice squad. They're worried about another team signing him off their practice squad, so they're burying him, so there's no game tape for other NFL teams to evaluate.

I lean towards option #2 and think he'll end up on the practice squad.

RE: 10 Tribe Players in NFL
My prediction after the final preseason game. BW had a nice game totaling 8 tackles and 1 PD. If Seattle keeps 3 QBs, then RJ will make the team.

Lock: Sean Lissemore, Mike Leach, Jonathan Grimes, Jerome Couplin
Bubble: BW Webb, RJ Archer
PS: Tre McBride, Mike Reilly

I agree. Imagine the Seahawks would put RJ on the PS if he doesn't make the 53. At least until Jackson is 100%.

Someone said earlier that RJ is ineligible for PS so it's either roster or cut.

Don't recall the exact rules, but I wouldn't have thought RJ had enough NFL experience to preclude the PS.

It looks like Steeler fan base is still divided whether to keep BW Webb or Kevin Fogg. One thing in favor of BW is that Kevin Fogg is eligible for PS while he is not.

Jon Grimes was not among cuts today. Hilliard was the final RB cut. CBS link reported Texans made final cuts.

Tre McBride was also spared. Not sure if the Titans put fourth a final list.

Steelers cut 7 B. W. was not one of them but Fogg was

Titans cut 9 and Tre was not one of them but a WR was

RE: 10 Tribe Players in NFL
For R J Archer, he might have more than just Jackson to beat out. Peter King of Sports Illustrated reports that Seattle might sign RGIII if the Redskins cut him. I haven't heard if that occurred today or not. Archer played well this preseason so I hope Seattle keeps him on the 53 man roster.
