Not sure what we can do about it either. If we were a better bunting team that would be the best strategy. But they've already easily gunned down our fastest runner on a steal attempt, so it's very tough to manufacture runs. They're negating our speed and making every tough play in the field. Infuriating.

2 up 2 down for Barnes. What a job he's done here. If we can find a way to win this game we'll still have the majority of our bullpen available thanks to him.

LSU is really good defensively.

This is ridiculous. Poche' averaged 5.8 innings per start this season. He allowed 89 hits in 88.2 innings. We are a very good hitting team. At some point something has to give, right?

Like, perfect. Catcher gunning down runners, a tremendous SS, and OF's who cover all kinds of ground. This is what elite college baseball looks like. We're a superb program but this is insane what we're witnessing.
