#2 Major improvement to the passing game. Breida will be running free if folks can't stack the box like they were at the end of last year. All he needs is a few yards past the line of scrimmage and it is like tackling smoke.

I wanted to see a play. Didn't see it.

Why wouldnt it? He was successful at Troy from 2006-2009 with it. Top 3 offense in the Nation to boot.

1. I wanted to see how our defense would replace our linebackers and D-line, they looked pretty good and the pass rush wasn't just coming from one player like last year. Players say they are way ahead of last years team as far as implementing Thompson's scheme.
2. Tyler Jones continuing to improve, he did well going 20 of 33, 207 yards, 2 TDs
3. Since its draft format I just wanted it to be an exciting match-up. I wasn't expecting this but it was awesome.

1. I wanted to see who was going to step into the CB role left open by Mager and if anyone looks like they can replace Odiari as our primary edge rusher.
2. Who was truly settled into the #2 QB role and I think that highlight secures White as that guy.
3. Is our OLine solid or will we be looking at multiple rotations.
4. LBs, LBs, LBs. We lost talent there.

Out of curiosity, how does a Hail Mary throw validate that qb as the number 2 guy?

It was more about following 2 sets of Practices now, the reports this year and Fran's comments re:White. Then the upper classmen took him as their #1 QB choice for the game. (No, I don't know who got to choose first.) Basically a combination of things. He did well in the SG. So, The Hail Mary was just icing.
