My most vivid memory of Calvin Baker, albeit there was absolutely nothing memorable
about him, was his high bounce dribble bringing the ball up court and how opponents would step in and steal the ball. It drove Tony mad.

TTarpey gets defensive poy and Marcus gets poy. Tarpey snubbed for first team caa. Lee, Mt, spruill, green, and Eatherton

Really great to have the leadership award, the POY, and the Defensive POY! Congratulations to Marcus, Terry and Tom!!

Can't argue with any selection. Well-deserved, all.

MT got 21 votes, Lee got 19.

Time to hang # 3 from the rafters in The Kap.
What a great tribute to Tom Schalk from his teammates, Coach and Dean of The Mason School of Business.
If The was not The D POF then something would have been terribly wrong.

Congrats to theses young men and the total team !
Go Tribe!

It's bull**** Terry didn't make the first team. He wasn't even the first man left off. I guess he'll just have to make the first all tournament team now.

Great day for Tribe men's basketball. All richly deserved. And agree Terry should have been first team..Etherton was huge disappointment for Northeastern and never should have been first team.

A huge disappointment? Not sure I agree there. He was solid defensively and finished 13th in the nation in FG %. While I would have probably put him on the 2nd team he still had a very solid campaign.

Compared to his numbers from last year, I would call him a disappointment this year in comparison. He didn't dominate the glass like he did last year and the offense didn't run through him like it did last year (all though that is in part due to Northeastern being a more balanced team this year).

Agreed Eatherton didn't deserve 1st team. Curry and Tarpey were both much more deserving.

I think 1st team is always going to be heavily weighted to scorers. It's no
Real surprise Terry wasn't first team and I think we should be happy and proud of the awards W&M players received. Most if us 5 years ago would not have imagined a season where we have the POY and DPOY, considering neither has ever happened before.

This gave me pause when I actually thought about it this morning. It is an incredible accomplishment.

No a shock that Terry was passed over for higher scoring players. I wouldn't trade all the rebounds, blocks, steals, assists and hustle plays that Terry brings for a player that scores 5 more points per game.

Terry's first team in my book. DPOY is some well-deserved recognition. Congrats to Omar and Marcus too. Now lets take care of business tomorrow. Timme to go board a plane.

RE: CAA POY Watch
I think Tarpey has a chance to be POY next year. If he can average closer to 18 ppg with his current other stats it would be hard to argue against.
