On a side note, for the time being, it appears William & Mary is the new "team to beat".
No one in the CAA really has a true "signature win" in non-conference this year, but the closest thing to it would be W&M's victory over Wofford (# 26 RPI), the only Top 50 RPI win for the league this year. Wofford, however, is sure to fall out of the Top 50 with their weak SoCon schedule. The Tribe also blew out Charleston (75-45) and Drexel (73-47) to begin conference play. We'll be facing them Jan 14 in Williamsburg.

Mullet, for all the crap we give you, I agree 100% with your earlier post concerning our ability to compete this year, but also considering we could lose at any given point. Our team right now, reminds me of the VCU teams from 04-06. They were competitive, had the skill to beat top CAA teams, but also lost a bunch of games they shouldn't have or just got out-played. Saying all of that, I'm hoping this season is a turning point for us and "rock bottom" is behind us.

Let's pray Keatts isn't the next Jeff Capel III. He was a lousy coach. Solid comparison otherwise.
