Apparently I don't know anything, haha. And I'm so glad to be wrong. GREAT win!

Talley with 21! Awesome job by the freshman.

Talley is going to have a big time career at the Dub with how he's played all year. Big time freshman.

Big fan.

Already Coach Keatts is making an impact on this program. Talley definitely should continue to be the starting PG for the entirety of the conference slate.

Getting a win like that so early in conference play is huge for this team's confidence, and in all honesty, mine as well.

People can wonder all day about how far we will get with Coach K, but clearly we are already seeing some big time changes and results.

RE: Northeastern
this was our toughest road conference game of the year. we can be competitive in the caa and make a statement in baltimore with this team, particularly as they grow and get a better offensive flow with fewer turnovers.

This was a team picked to win the league, with 6 of their top 7 scorers returning, 70th in the RPI, and 2 nights ago they hammered Delaware on the road by 19. Impressive stuff.

Now we need to set out to prove this win was a sign of things to come rather than an anomaly.

Should he continue to develop, Talley should be a key cog in our machine. He seems to be a very good get for us.

I agree completely. Nice to have a guard that can handle the ball, control the offense, and score. We haven't had something like this since TJ.

Talley controls the game and makes others better plus is a very good defender. I feel good when he has the ball in his hands. Plays with heart and smarts out there.

Mullet? Mullet?

Seriously, The Mullet knows some hoops. He is cynical and negative - but the geriatric fish is worth listening to. I appreciate what he has to say!02-13-banana

The key is to build, let's see first. Last very nice win was followed by 4 straight losses(2 bad). Very nice win nonetheless but let's see what's next

CGH06 - agreed. Enjoy tonight but tomorrow keep in mind that this team will have very nice nights and also some very poor ones. We have already witnessed the ups and downs. They will more than likely continue to bounce back and forth. So, enjoy tonight and get ready for Delaware in the morning. That's a win we must get.

RE: Northeastern
Most important game this year.

We've beaten up on some bad and mediocre teams, played well against some good teams but lost, gotten smoked by some good teams, and lost to some mediocre teams.

This was our first win against a good team.

Also, I think this established Talley as a starting PG for this team. We just look better overall with him in that spot. Ponder is more if a scorer and simply turns the ball over too much at PG.

Keatts should start Talley from here on out. And, since offense seems to be our biggest problem, i'd go with this lineup primarily.

Talley
Freddie
Spruill
Ogbodo
Williams

That's our toughest defensive lineup and one that can put pressure on the ball and score.

Ponder, Sherwood and CJ can come off the bench.

Very nice win and on the road.I saw part of the second half and Talley looked very good to me and he should start amd play big minutes for sure.I am not sure why NE played man against Talley because he just flat beat them off the floor any time he wanted to.
If NE is the best team in the CAA and I think they might be, it tells me UNCW can compete in this conference this year.I also think UNCW could lose to every team in the CAA at home or on the road. They have some talent but don't seem to know how to play together at times.
If NE had done a better job against the high ball pick it might have been a different game-not sure what the hell they were thinking at all.UNCW also had some guys hit a few shots they have not been making like Spruill hitting a three and Jackson hitting a tough drive in the lane through contact. It is only one game like the rest-I don't read to much into any one game.
