We had a good day today and have reason to feel good about ourselves, but we are still a tremendous underdog. The Evil Ones have done little so far, and they still hold most of the cards. Don't let up. We fight.

When haven't we been an underdog, but you're right we don't hold any of the cards.
All we can hope is that a journalist cares enough to dig down to whats really going on.

Agreed. But after today, I finally feel hopeful. UAB 1, PBJ 0 at the half. Mmmm this green kool-aid is good.

RE: Gov. Bentley to "look into" UAB situation
I feel a lot better after the outpouring of support.
Still, I've long since decided that I would never forgive the Board of Trustees. I'm not a journalist or anything like that, but I'll try my best to shine a light on what the board has been doing and keep sending emails and notices to everyone from Outside the Lines to elected officials. This is just the beginning. This is not going to be like the other incidents when we took a body blows and everyone took them in stride. That's not going to happen anymore. This is all about exposing a board that is under the control of a man that has been on a power trip for as long as I could remember, and people are going to see him for what he really is now.

Hurting UAB would have a huge economic impact to Birmingham and the results could potentially be catastrophic with the loss of undergraduate students and jobs if there are less students. Tweet them to the Gov, copy the Mayor, Johnathan Austin, Rep Williams and media sources. Those tweets were picked up by Mobile, H'ville, Jackson and Montgomery media outlets. The public/media pressure got the notice, but UAB needs to remain clam, polite and showing concern for more than football. In the grand scheme, football is the first salvo to hurting both UAB and Birmingham.
Just loaded his Twitter page with messages.
