There’s actually a very nice crowd here by UAB standards. Of course, in a 71,000-seat stadium it looks ridiculous.

I don't know if that's good or bad. Doesn't look too bad on tv even though they don't really show it.

its the 3rd largest crowd of the year, behind A&M and troy.

Probably looks good to UAB fans. Not so good to everyone else.

Say it's only 28,000. That still meets/exceeds the seating capacity of the proposed stadium. I think the fans and football team made a strong case today.
