RE: Krysten Hammon leaving Georgia State
We could be right where State is now with all of the backs we lost in the offseason but thankfully we have a zillion backs since we are transitioning from the triple option/whatever you want to call it offense.

Whatever you call it, it is working.

RE: Krysten Hammon leaving Georgia State
So via a quote on Panthertalk.com. Hammon left us with this quote

Quote:It's a story behind the way I run the ball. Everything happens for a reason thanks for all the support.

What the hell does that mean? He didn't want to listen to the coaches, because he didn't need to? I don't get it. He showed he could run, and now he wants to try his luck elsewhere? 03-confused

Generation that doesn't like discipline. The only thing we know for sure are the facts.

He was a late addtion to the class wehn we lost Deandre Mann to Kansas and Maetron Thomas to Charlotte

We were his only FBS offer despite running for 2000 yards his Sr year in Houston

He was suspended for missing class and being late

He didnt like and didnt feel he should have been disciplined.

Best to let him go now rather than deal with a cancer in the locker room.

I think he broke a 20 or so yard run last year, but he didn't run often. For a guy who was as under siege as he was last season, you figured if he could run, he would have done it more.

Haha the ines capability of Ronnie bell intrigues all Panther fans03-lmfao

Hope you guys have enough players left to play by the time you get to us.
If Caffey plays offense and defense he is really going to be worthless by the
fourth quarter you would think.

He needs to just move to offense. Square peg/round hole.

Agree. Sounds real promising as a RB. Might be better than what you
had, but guy you are losing had good stats.

Must have been under cover. I remember clearly wondering why I didnt see another offer on 247 when we offered. At any rate, good riddance.

Hammon is good, no doubt. But if you cannot figure out by the time you reach FBS that there is no i in team...

You guys will be alright in the long run. The problem was doing so many things in a short period of time. Now that the team is established and the FCS-to-FBS move is complete, you can thoroughly concentrate on your team. You are already seeing some of the benefits this year; the rest will come. You guys are in an area too rich with talent not to prosper from it.

The coach of transfers. He built Delaware on transfers. It's all he knows.

And he's a Grade A DB (not defensive back).
