Doesn't look any better from here either.
Whatever you do, don't watch the INT return for a TD. You might break your computer screen.
the funny thing about that INT return is the player who made it, Xavier Woods, was a ULL commitment for a few weeks before deciding to stay close to home at Tech
Are you sure? I thought it was a higher profile school than ULL. Bob Stoops was in his house trying to get him to switch from Tech to OU.

I don't think so. OU beat Tech 32. OU beat Tulsa by 45. Tulsa beat Tulane by 7. Tech beat ULL by 28. ULM needs to beat ULL by more than 28.

Tech draws flies while Lafayette "packs the house"? Last year in their 3rd straight bowl season in a town with 100k more people ULL average 7k more than Tech did in a 4 win season. The year before in ULL's 2nd bowl winning season Tech averaged 3k more than ULL. The last time ULL won less than 5 games (3 way back in 2010) they aveaged 1,300 less in attendance than last year's 4 win Tech team.
Performance has an impact on attendance but everything equal, Tech in a town of 21k draws better than ULL does in a town of 120k.

Your all-time attendance record is 28k in 1997 against ULM. You won't win any attendance arguments, but congrats on embarrassing us last night.

That's the biggest crowd at a game in Ruston. Tech plays the better drawing games in Independence Stadium in Shreveport. We've had over 40K a few times there.

Despite the monsoon in the 1st and 2nd quarters Marshall still scored 48 points. And had 717 yards total offense. Cato threw for 267 yards and ran for 143, total of 410 yards for him. OOO yeah he had a 63 yard TD run also.

If the Cajuns were to schedule a home game in New Orleans, by all means it would count. Teams do this sort of thing all the time. If the SuperDome was game for it, a UL-L/Miss St game played in the Dome would probably work well for both parties. Have you guys ever pursued anything like this?

Monsoon or not, Ga state's only win in a 23 game span was Rhode Island. And Ga State hammered them 41-7. Yes, Ga State hammered them 41-7. Let me repeat it again so that it sinks in. GA STATE Hammered them.
Now if it were MTSU, I could understand the game being close.

Right, because we didn't just hammer a terrible team like we were supposed to, which has nothing to do with this conversation anyhow.
Marshall was demonstrably better and the final score and statline reflect that. Underperforming for two quarters in a monsoon and then cruising in the second half like you were expected hardly qualifies as struggling.

42-7 Tech with 13:00 min left
I was worried about the Tech game last week. I thought it would be a close game unlike others, including Vegas. I just didn't expect the blowout. Might have been a closer game if Elijah McGuire and Jamal Robinson wouldn't have been injured early which got us off the game plan such as Alonzo and Elijah being on the field at the same time along with Broadway. Everything they practiced for that week, they never had a chance to try and execute it.
I don't think anyone will under estimate Tech anymore, to go on the road and spank 2 pretty good teams
