Glad to hear you found a way to kill some time until relevant sports start playing again.

Congrats to him. The world's greatest sports stage short of the Olympics. Says a lot for Akron' program.

Watched the last third of that match today. Belgium scored in the 89' minute. I cheered (buh-buy Putin).

Some good matches in this Cup. Lots of comebacks during the Game 1s... At one point, nearly half of the sides that scored first wound up losing.

Enter "play not to lose" and "prevent defense" quips here. 03-banghead
Beautifully executed play by Portugal, no doubt. But that sure felt like a choke job.

I don't know much about futbol, but that was certainly an epic choke job.

Yes, if I was a young man I'd find a beautiful Brazilian woman to marry in Rio and give the guests at the wedding Brazucas.

Her family would be happy (to receive Bracuzas as a gift for attending the wedding) and I'd be happy too.

And I'd take the wedding gifts ($) and buy tickets to the World Cup for the bride and me. 03-cloud9 and live happily thereafter. Maybe. 03-lmfao

I love the group system and how for the final games within a group how they are scheduled to be played concomitantly so no teams have an advantage of knowing the outcome of the other group game.

He was definitely a spark when he came into the game. Nice substitution by Klinsman.
