Yedlin gets attention.

Yedlin looks like a really nice player for the future.

World Cup 2018, anyone?

BTW, did any (early, EDT game) MLB games' attendance suffer yesterday as folks at 6:00 p.m. were riveted to the match vs. Belgium rather than driving to the park?

Didn't the match end around 6:30???

Midfielder Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew), and Forward Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers) are projected to make the roster along with Yedlin. Nagbe was born in Liberia but moved to Cleveland when he was 11 years old and expects to become a US Citizen sometime next year.

Defenders Perry Kitchen (DC United) and Kofi Sarkodie (Houston Dynamo) are longshots, but so was Yedlin before this World Cup.

You know you're having a bad day when you're getting RUTS'ed in futbol, in your home country.

7-0 Germany with a few minutes left.

What a bummer for Brazil, they got destroyed on their home pitch, then their arch-rival advances to the final the next day... ouch! For their hosting sake, I hope Germany wins!
