I spent almost an hour putting this together. With people potentially making trips to Statesboro/Savannah for football games, I figured it could be useful to others, so I posted it publicly.

Anyone else traveling with you? Wife, kids, drinking buddies? As far as attractions, there is a few cool things to see (depending on what you are into) but for the most part, I view the "attraction" of the city, is the food, the old buildings, the squares, etc.
If you are staying on tybee here are few places to eat:
A.J.'s Dockside is a great place for dinner - can watch the sun set over the back river of Tybee.

Social has some great food, never had a bad meal there. Known for their pita tacos (lobster/orange pork/steak/shrimp) and sea food.

Fannies and Spanky's are on the beach strip - more generic barfood with some fried seafood thrown in.

Huc-a-poos is on the north end of tybee tucked in a small lot. Pizza place with a big porch, big bar, very laid back.

For the most part, everything on tybee is very casual. Especially the places right by the pier.
On the topic of the pier.. If you plan on spending the day on the beach, don't setup within 500 yards of the pier. Unless you like watching a bunch of piss drunk rednecks that come in from the surrounding counties. We tend to setup on 18th street, the very south end, or the back river. Much less crowded, and away from some of the rif-raf. Of those locations Only 18th street has a bathroom (The pier and surrounding streets do as well), the water is still a little cold to get in right now. So 18th might be your best bet. It's better to setup away from the pier, and walk to it to check it out, than be setup right next to it.
When you head into historic Savannah, there are tons of great places to eat. I'll name a few, but if you've heard of something else or have any questions, feel free to ask. One thing about Savannah is there is plenty of good places to eat & drink.
Fine Dining:
Pink House - an old mansion converted into a restaurant. Great service, great food.

The Mansion On Forysth - Never eaten here but supposed to be absolutely great.

Alligator Soul - Some of the best meals I've had in town. Exotic game is their specialty.

Seafood:
Charthouse: I think it's actually a chain, but the food is good and it's on river street

Vic's on the River - High end, very good from what I've heard

Brunch:
Huey's - Creole inspired, great place for brunch. Their beignets come with a hot praline sauce that will literally change your life. Ask for extra. It's literally some of the best stuff I've ever eaten.

B.Mathews. - Great for brunch lunch or dinner

Regular Lunch/Dinner:
Bohemian - They have a roof top bar that you'll want to go up. Great view from the top of the river, VERY cool if a ship is coming in. Typically have live music at night.

Zunzi's is a category of it's own. It's only open for lunch, and get there a little early, a line will form. It was on the food network for "Best Sandwich In America", and it's not even the best thing on their menu. Get Oliver's lunch. Owners are a married couple, one from south african, the other french.

Vinnie Van Go-Go's
Cash only pizza place in city market. Outside seating.

Tubby's on the river: Casual seafood, second story porch over looking the river. Very cool place to eat and have a drink or two and watch the container ships come down the river.

Mrs. Wilkes - Southern style home cooked food. Fried chicken, collards, mac & cheese, all the good stuff. Come hungry.

For the attractions, Bonaventure Cemetery is worth a drive through. It has graves dating back pre-Civil War. Tons of huge oak trees, very picturesque. The "midnight in the garden of good and evil" statue was originally there, and parts of the movie were filmed there as well.
I'd plan on taking one afternoon, and grabbing a beer to go, and walking around downtown and looking at all the squares (don't have to see them all, they do get a little redundant), but walking with a cold one while sight seeing makes it all the better. There are tons of hole-in-the-wall types of bars that have tons of character. Some of the best places I think are the ones underground because you get to see all the old architecture.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
