RE: JMU and Mo.State are out. Who ya got?
I vote for closing off FBS now that App is in and JMU is likely choosing to stay out.

JMU and Mo.State are out. Who ya got?
EKU FTW
Winning tradition, decent basketball, seem to be willing to make the move. Replaces WKU and gives App State a travel partner.
2nd choice is UMass for football-only.

RE: JMU and Mo.State are out. Who ya got?
Still early but as of 84 votes at 1pm EST 4/17
The true numbers
LU
25 when you factor out LU grads fans(13 voted)
15 from 2014 Sunbelt Schools
UMass (Football Only)
31 when you factor out UMass grads/fans(1 voted)
24 from 2014 Sunbelt Schools
EKU
11 when you factor out EKU grads/fans(3 voted)
10 from 2014 Sunbelt Schools
There is a clear 1,2,3 as far as the rest of the sunbelt feels at this point.
1.UMass(football only)
2.Liberty
3.EKU
I know there are a bunch that want to stand pat at 11 then drop Idaho to go to 10. But of the three left this is who the sunbelt schools feel are most viable.

Just to be clear...this poll shows how participants on a message board have voted....granted, those who chose to vote. It doesn't show who the Sun Belt schools feel are most viable. Some schools even have more fans than other schools on this message board so this data can never be a true indication of anything other than what it is.

Maybe then we can get back arguing about what the proper thing to call the Cajuns is.....or who the real GSU is.....
Both of those asinine arguments are better than all this.
Since we know who the real ASU is (See App State) I guess GSU would be the next argument naturally.
To find the real ASU go to http://www.ASU.edu
We are A-State.
That's pretty much what he was saying, we chose to let you guys keep asu and switched to app state

lol....You didn't follow the link...it goes to Arizona State. We've abandoned ASU and are officially A-State. We only use ASU intermittently due to old habit. I was basically joking that the ASU fight was between you and them.
Lol I guess there is even more proof of no asu controversy since we BOTH threw out asu and now it's app state and a state

Yeah I thought most people were probably intelligent to gather than on their own as I tallied 84 votes from this board.

Yes, but even after you eventually change the verbiage to "after all the voting", the point still stands.

No one likes grammar or verbiage police. I humbly apologize for not using the exact wording you would have. It was not with the intent of misleading anyone as I know they are smart enough to figure it out on their own. If I offended any fans in my dissemination of the polls numbers, I bow and apologize before them. That suffice?

Where's the NDSU option?
If Liberty and UMass football-only are viable options, there is no reason not to include NDSU football-only.
NDSU football-only is probably the strongest football move the Sun Belt can make. While not ideal, it's a significantly better option than both Liberty and UMass football-only.

NDSU would be a great football add. It gives IDAHO a travel partner!
If it weren't for location, they would be my #1 pick. I have no intentions of playing in the Nationwide Conference.
Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, and North Dakota State are, and have been, the only acceptable choices. As most of you are well aware I and many on this board are football first and don't enjoy sacrificing football for a slight increase in basketball, or in some cases baseball. Those three programs are the only ones that have proven they could be competitive at this level, based on recent success. I still don't want NDSU, nut only because they're in the middle of nowhere. wasn't a fan of Idaho (or NMSU) joining either.

#1 EKU if they can get a large scale facilities upgrade plan together. It would be rough for them and Sun Belt rankings for awhile but better overall long term choice.
#2 Liberty Due to political baggage, it does not bother me, as with libtard schools I am able to separate the young men and women playing sports with the idiotic philosophies of SOME of the schools leadership but no getting around the hand wringing of the hypocrite left.
#3 UMASS location and lack of long term growth potential. Football is just not a growth sport and or is well supported. Its a basketball school that would never put its basketball team in the Belt.

Agreed, UMass was a dominate FCS program, similar to Villanova. Villanova was wise to stay FCS, UMass just couldn't resist the urge.
