I have to laugh at the way the conference lists the Cajuns ranking. I can see people all over Lafayette shouting "We're #1/6"

1/6 < 1. I'll take it.

Ga.Southern loses to North Florida 8-7 tonight despite having 16 hits on offense. Our pitching was not good tonight.

The weird team that can beat juggernauts but have almost double the losses as wins, UTA, is beating Baylor 14-1 in the bottom of the 7th.
UTA 8-16 on the year, 1-5 in the SBC.
Beat ranked TCU 10-2
Beat ranked Sam Houston 7-6
Lost to two D-I transitional teams

RE: SBC Baseball 3/25-26/2014
ASU scores 5 in the 8th to come back and beat Memphis 10-7.
Very odd game. We fell behind 3-0, scored the next 5 to go up 5-3, and with one of our Freshman relevers cruising, we looked golden. Decided to go to one of our top relievers in the 8th, and the umpire forgets where the strike zone is, and after a couple walks, our normally solid outfield defense dropped a lazy fly ball and turned it into a 4 run inning.
Next inning, we turn around and get some well placed at bats, a Memphis error to put the tying run on, an infield hit to tie it, and back to back bloop hits to take and extend the lead.
Memphis was a top 50 RPI team, and had beaten Miss State and Ole Miss, so I'll take the win any day. Now we get a fun 5 hour drive to Springfield tomorrow for a makeup game with Missouri State that will probably be on a weekend in a couple years.

Memphis could #666 in the RPI and I still call it a good win. Don't like the Tigers.

Rodney Hennon lost to North Florida tonight. 17 hits and this guy still wants to give away outs on the base paths.
